Don’t Skip Breakfast! Nutrient Rich Filling Shake

How does the staff at stay healthy and fit?  By exercising and making smart, healthy eating choices. Whatever you do, don’t skip breakfast and don’t sacrifice your healthy eating habits by grabbing a Pop Tart (why would you have that in your house anyway)!
It’s time for a delicious breakfast. Get out your blender and whip  up this quick, tasty, nutrient rich, shake. I guarantee it will keep you full until your next meal!


2 Scoops of Protein Powder – vanilla or chocolate (I love chocolate with this one)
1/4 Cup of Dry Oatmeal
1 Cup Skim Milk, Almond Milk, Soy Milk, Rice Milk or Water
2 Frozen Bananas
1 Handful of fresh or frozen Strawberries
1 Tbsp of Almond Butter or Natural Peanut Butter
2 Tbsp of Unsweetened Applesauce
1 Tbsp Flax seed
1 Tbsp Wheat Germ
1/2 Cup Ice Cubes

Blend all ingredients and drink up!  Makes about 4 Servings.
