Sometimes I just don’t have the time for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to get your metabolism moving. On those days a smoothie is my best option and it’s perfect to take with you and sip on the road. Time saved and tummy full. This smoothie recipe will satisfy your tastebuds and fill you up while remaining full of nutrients.
*Note I don’t drink it out of a wine glass (I LOVE WINE) but I thought it would make for a cute photo.
Kristen’s Strawberry Banana Smoothie
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup of strawberries
- ½ banana
- 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 cup of rolled oats (I love Bob’s Red Mill Extra Rolled Thick Oats
- ½ cup of cashews
- ½ cup of almonds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Throw it all in the blender and drink up!
